EDUCATION
The Catholic all-girls school was founded as a boarding school in 1909 by nuns from the Congregation of the Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary and is located in Kaimuki, Hawaii. From the first class of 75 to the current enrollment of 1,100, the school's growth has necessitated expanded facilities and services.
Over the years, SOH has provided civil engineering and land surveying services for a variety of school projects. Completed in 2009, the Performing Arts Center helped to revitalize the Catholic girls school band, chorale, and dance curriculum. Part of a multi-year building plan, the Performing Arts Center joins the McKeough Arts Center and the Clarence T.C. Ching Student Center campus facilities.

In 2014, the school contacted SOH seeking help with renovations and repairs to the stained glass windows in its 100-year old chapel. The problem was that heat from the sun was causing the lead in the stained glass to warp and to sag. These deformations caused glass to fall out of their frames, exposing the interior to more heat, humidity, and birds.

The thermal imaging component to SOH's Z+F scanner allowed Sacred Hearts to visualize and prioritize stabilization efforts and budget for future work.
