Founded in 1918, the 2.5 acre upper Makiki private school includes single classrooms for JK and 6th Grade and multi-age classrooms with home group learning spaces for K/1, 2/3 and 4/5. The campus includes a library containing 15,000 volumes, gym, communications center, conference room, professional development center, archives, center courtyard for school-wide gatherings and programs, pavilion for weekly assemblies and lunch, playing field with Kompan play structures and outdoor hard court surface area.

In 2008, SOH provided civil engineering and topographic surveying services for the school's new administration and classroom buildings and parking facility. Services also included boundary stakeout at Makiki Heights Drive improvement areas, and Center Court drainage and retention areas.
