EDUCATION
Guam High School is a two-story 115,000 sf facility designed to accommodate approximately 480 students. The school was constructed on a 16-acre site at the U.S. Naval Hospital Compound, located on the cliff line above Hagatna, the capital city.
The elementary and middle school is located on 30.3 acres of land situated in Santa Rita, Guam. The 290,000 sf building is large enough to house 1500 students, staff and teachers. A soccer field and play courts were constructed and alongside the building are tot lots.
Both schools include gymnasiums, athletic fields, multi-purpose rooms, administrative areas, information/media centers, cafeterias, and support rooms.
Original plans for the middle/elementary school included more classrooms, parking areas and a recreational facility, but these facilities were deleted prior to award of the contract. SOH engineers designed the drainage system to handle the additional load should they be installed at a later date. Work included the design and preparation of plans and specifications, water system, sewer and drainage system.

Services for the high school additionally included a stormwater retention system and grading for retaining wall structures.
